I admit it. I loved it. But, then, I’ve never made any bones about that I think she’s one of the best things about him.
Shallow thing – I loved her outfit.
And, I don’t care what anyone else says – leave her hair alone

She’s wonderful! The more the interview continued, the more impressed I was. What I liked the most about her was that she seemed to speak from the heart.

She’s smart enough to not allow the media to frame the debate for her.

Mrs. Obama has a natural presence that is refreshing. She comes across as a very capable woman who is quite at ease with herself. (Sadly, many people are intimidated by those same qualities, but such is life).
She’s supportive of her husband’s ambitions but she ain’t trippin’ about it. That said, the Obama family will be fine no matter how this campaign plays out.

I enjoyed Part 2 this morning. Made sure to tape it today.
I can’t help it. I like Michelle…a lot

I joke a lot about these two, but something sticks out at me about the whole campaign. especially after seeing this interview:
I like her. And not because of any strong this and that, she just seems genuine.
Is America ready for a First Lady who looks like her? A regular black woman? Not a passable biracial curly girl that they call black, but a regular black woman from the south side of Chicago? With dark skin?
Is she going to be the face of The Woman on the largest pedestal in the country? A self-confessed “loud-mouth” black woman?
If they succeed, it turns white supremacy upside down. And not, in my opinion, because a black man is in the White House, it’s because a black woman is in there. And she didn’t have to come in the back door to lie in bed with the president.

Yogo, I like your style. (smile) I agree with your comments.

I LOVE THIS BLOG!
Just put it out there, why don’t you?
Tavis Smiley sort of asked the same question to Frank Rich, but he tried to cloak it, by asking if America was ready for a Black FAMILY in the White House.
I’m glad I’m not the only one thinking along these lines.

I’m more impressed w/ Michelle than Barack… lol… can’t stand Robin and her stupid arse questions.
Barack is still not my candidate, but she is a smart black woman, playing the game. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations so she is def a player.

If she keeps talking about how strong she is and how she has a loud mouth she will ruin it for her husband. The vast majority of Americans from all venues do not like loud mouth black women.

I am just in awe of this woman and this family. She reminds me so much of the women in my family: strong, independent, assertive, and loving.
How can you not love her? I know Barack has his hands full with that.
God Bless them.
