They said tests conducted after the seizure showed a tumor in Kennedy’s left parietal lobe. Preliminary results from a biopsy of the brain identified the cause of the seizure as a malignant glioma, they said.
His treatment will be decided after more tests but the usual course includes combinations of radiation and chemotherapy.
Kennedy has been hospitalized in Boston since Saturday, when he was airlifted from Cape Cod after a seizure at his home.
The tears are coming now and I am absolutely devastated. I have no words. Nothing. I can’t breathe and the room feels like its closing in on me. I feel physically sick. Please don’t take him now, Lord. His work is not done.

Hang in there man… He’ll pull through…

He’ll be fine, SB. You gotta keep the faith. The Lord allowed him here this long; I believe his work isn’t done yet.

SB: Be encouraged in knowing that God’s work does not begin and end in a single man; for we are the conduits that God uses to carry out His plan. God will complete what He has already begun. I’m certain of that.
I pray the best for Senator Kennedy. But as we already know, much of Kennedy’s work has already been established in the land. And trust me on this… Kennedy’s legacy, his influence, his ideals will not die when his body has been made to rest.
Perhaps those of you, who are inspired by his work, should recharge, reenergize, and reignite yourselves to carry out the work of Senator Kennedy. I pray you do the same when considering the life, the legacy, the commitment, the work of ChristI pray the same for myself..
Peace and blessings to you,
Angie

God bless you Chesapeake.
And to everyone else, please excuse the error. As you can see by the time, it was late.

Ted Kennedy has been advocating for people on the margins for 46 years. He has done remarkable work. He is passing the mantle on to others. No matter what happens with his illness, Teddy will be all right because “ye shall reap what ye sow.” He has sown kindness and mercy.

TripLBee, your memory is short. How much kindness and mercy did Ted Kennedy and his family sow for Mary Jo Kopechne and her family? That is a rhetorical question and the answer is none.

As tragic as that situation was, it was an accident.

Driving off the bridge might have been an accident. What he did afterwards was no accident.

I guess he will be facing Mary Jo Kopechne very soon. How is he going to face that?

Kicking a man when he is down does not honor the memory of Mary Jo Kopechne.
