My friend, are you absolutely certain that your skeptical attitude isn’t more about self pity and an attitude of victimization that you just can’t let go?

Are you sure that it’s not just a little bit scary for you as a black political activist having a newly elected black President? With power comes responsiblity, and now it is a Black man that must provide the leadership to stablize the economy, formulate policy to address global conflicts, global warming, world hunger, poverty and disease, drugs, and the list goes on. Does that frighten you?

Complaining and finger pointing was the easy part. Obama ran for President and told America he was the man for the job. Ok, I voted for him. I want him to succeed for the sake of my children and grand children, as well yours and those around the world. But I don’t want to hear a bunch of excuses from the liberal left about this secret group of corporate white men that are really behind it all, and oh, if he fails it will really be because of those evil old white men. RESPONSIBILITY.

It’s a new day. The American people have spoken. It’s time we the People take responsibility (sound familiar) for our future by joining arms with each other regardless of race, and insisting on the change President Obama has promised. I see a lot of complaints but no proposed solutions on your site. Your man is in charge now, fix it. No excuses.

I know you seen the speech tonight and the rebuttal from Rep. Gov. Bobby Jindal. I just have one comment: Does it seem that he is the Republican version of President Barack Obama. It is as if they finally found their puppet. Now they have “the one”, the one who can articulate a speech as well as President Barack and who has the background and diversity as President Barack.

Funny, I was listening to his speech and all I could see is the blatant fact he is mimicking President Barack Obama’s style. I guess it could be considered a compliment. However, it seems more like another stab in the dark (literally) for the Republicans to come up with an answer for a man that swept everyone off their feet. I guess, since President Barack didn’t accept the woman they threw at him, they will settle for the next best thing: being like him!

I guess I have to go to my Ebonics roots and say: Don’t hate me, be like me! Go BARACK!

First off I don’t like the Steelers and I think Troy’s hair is ridiculous. The NFL commissioner and his fines are getting worse than his hair though!!! Endzone dances, hard hits and the rest of it are good football and reasons why fans pay their hard earned money to watch. If you don’t want coaches and players criticizing refs, have better refs that don’t make as many bad calls. There are people who say you shouldn’t celebrate in the endzone. I disagree, since that is what you work your whole life for is to get a TD. I don’t think you should celebrate if you score to make it 35-6, but that’s different.

I am pretty sure all the fines go to charity or the NFL pension fund. Not positive here though.
