Congressman Foley resigns in disgrace, dooms GOP control

Standard

Congressman Mark Foley, 52 the House Chairman of the Missing and Exploited Childrens Caucus, resigned from the U.S. House of Hypocrisy today for soliciting sex from a minor, a male teenage House page.   The culture of corruption on capitol hill is nailing the coffin shut on GOP chances of retaining control of the House this fall.  This was a safe seat that is now in jeopardy.

I have no doubt that Nancy Pelosi will be elected the first female Speaker of the House.

  1. Don’t you just love when Republican hypocrisy is exposed?

This just goes to show that morality and personal responsibility can escape individuals regardless of political party, race, ethnicity etc. etc.

  2. T,

I must confess T that I am enjoying every minute of this scandal, but if you want the real deal, the good-the bad-and the ugly, click on my link to Down With Tyranny. He lights those Mofos up.

What has emerged is that this pedophile had a well known proclivity and chose to exercise it by focusing on the pages. The leadership knew about this creep and chose to do nothing about it. They knew and allowed this creep to chair the house caucus on missing and exploited children. The CYA tactic of calling for a FBI investigation is too little and too late. They knew and did nothing until the boy went public. This sick spectacle reveals these “leaders” as thugs intent on keeping their power. It is repugnant and it is fooling nobody.
